Updates On Connecticut Trees of Honor Memorial, Inc. Walnut Grove Road, Middletown, CT

Message from Sue Martucci, CTHM President

Summer has come and gone too quickly and it has been a most exciting and productive one! As the leaves change color and begin to fall in Veterans Park, the final push to complete Phase One is in full swing!

Our heroes’ trees were planted two weeks ago by the wonderful crew of Scovill Landscaping and are being diligently attended to by five local scout troops who come to fill each tree gator twice a week. They also turn on sprinklers and water the hydro seeded areas. The grass is really greening up and looking great! Thank you Andy Golschneider, Advisor for Venture Crew 169 Durham for coordinating this huge responsibility.
