An Evening Of Holiday Song & Dance for Toys for Tots

The Dance Corner, of Killingworth, CT, presents its ninth annual performance of Winter Follies: A Celebration of the Season Through Song and Dance. The performance is Saturday, December 9th at 4:30pm and will be held at the Andrews Memorial Town Hall Auditorium on East Main Street in Clinton, CT.

This Toys for Tots fundraiser and toy drive performance has become a holiday tradition on the shoreline. The Dance Corner joins forces with Corner Music, Old Saybrook and brings together dancers, singers and musicians for a evening of fun and festive songs and dance. The Winter Follies show will surely put you and your family in the holiday spirit!

Carrie Smith director of The Dance Corner says, “ This event is very important to me because it is about giving back to our community and helping those in need. At The Dance Corner we are teaching more than just great dance. We are dedicated to helping our students become great people. The Winter Follies doesn’t have all the flashy costumes and flowers and trophies of our annual recital, but for our students performing in this show is more significant, because it is about family, friends and our community coming together to make needy child’s holiday special. The 2016 Winter Follies performance collected over 250 donations for the Toys for Tots drive. We hope to continue that success and collect even more donations during this year’s performance.”

The cost of admission is $10.00 per person however; we encourage all attendees to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots program. Admission price with a new, unwrapped toy is FREE. All tickets will be sold at the door and the toy donation boxes will be located at the entrance to the auditorium.
