A Few Absentee Ballots Sent With Incorrect Election Date Due To Clerical Error
Those with concerns or questions are asked to contact the Haddam Town Clerk's Office.
October 8, 2020
It’s come to our attention that some of the absentee ballots we sent out had an incorrect election date on the sticker on the outer return envelope. This was a clerical error that affected very few ballots. It will not invalidate your ballot. You may request a replacement sticker from the Town Clerk’s Office if you want to but it’s not necessary. Your ballot will be counted regardless of the date on the sticker as long as the Town Clerk receives it by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 3, 2020.
