Haddam, Killingworth's Weekend Weather: Keep An Eye On The Sky
Clouds are making their way across the state this weekend.

The clouds have arrived and they will be creeping their way across Connecticut just in time for a traditionally busy weekend.
Throughout the state, some families will be hosting graduation parties. Campers have already reserved sites both on the coast and inland. Hikers are hitting the trails. Several Relay for Life events are on tap for the weekend.
But we’re going to have to pay attention to the sky. The keyword here is “chance” because we could see some rain over the weekend.
Here is the National Weather Service statewide forecast:
- Friday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. South wind 3 to 8 mph. The chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible.
- Friday night: Patchy fog after 2 a.m. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 61 with south wind 5 to 7 mph but becoming calm in the evening.
- Saturday: Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Highs should be near 86 with calm winds becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.
- Saturday night: A chance of showers, mainly after 5 a.m. Clouds will Increase, with a low around 64. Southwest wind around 6 mph will become calm in the evening. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible.
- Sunday: A chance of rain, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 9 a.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Watch for patchy fog between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. with a high near 75. Calm winds become southeast at 5 to 9 mph in the morning. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
- Sunday night: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 2 a.m., then a chance of rain and thunderstorms after 2 a.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Look out for patchy fog after 7 p.m. with lows around 65. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
- Monday: A chance of showers before 9 a.m. and partly sunny, with a high near 82. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
- Monday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63.
- Tuesday: A chance of showers after 1 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
