Haddam, Killingworth's Weekend Weather: Stormy and Cool To Start, Then Warms Up
A chance of thunderstorms and cooler temps will greet us at the start of the weekend, before the sun and warmer temps return.

The National Weather Service’s updated weekend weather forecast isn’t as warm as it has been during the work week but is pretty typical for springtime.
First, we’ll be dealing with some showers and a chance for thunderstorms on Friday and Friday night, and some of the storms could be strong. It’s another scenario where some towns may see strong storms and others won't.
Once the possible storminess ends early Saturday, the sun will return but temps will be cooler.
Here is the detailed National Weather Service forecast:
- Friday: Early sunshine turns to mostly cloudy skies and there is a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temps will be near 70 on the shoreline and up to 80 degrees in northern Connecticut.
- Friday night: Showers and thunderstorms, some patchy fog late, and temps in the mid-50s. Not much rain is expected unless you’re in the path of the thunderstorms. In Hartford and Tolland counties, some of the storms could include hail and gusty winds.
- Saturday: Clouds burn off and the sun comes out as the day progresses. Temps in the upper-60s.
- Saturday night: Chilly as temps fall back to near 40 on the Shoreline and mid-30s inland.
- Sunday: Sunshine, cooler with temps just near 60 degrees.
- Sunday night: Temps back into the low-40s.
Next week, there could be rain moving in Monday and Tuesday.
