Higganum Man Buys $1.5 Million Winning Lottery Ticket
What a way to start the New Year for this lucky winner.
DURHAM, CT — Really, there is no better way to start off the New Year then Mark Brencher Jr. did. According to the Connecticut Lottery, Brencher, of Higganum, Conn. won $1.5 million on a lottery game.
He purchased the lucky ticket at the Krauszers in Durham on Jan. 3. The winning game is "Win Up To $7,500 A Month For Life 2Nd Ed."
And according to the Lottery website, this isn't Brencher's first lottery victory. On Dec. 18, Brencher purchased a $50,000 winning 5X The Money 10Th Edition ticket from Krauszers in Durham.
