Motorcyclist Sought In ‘Road Rage Incident’ On Route 9: State PD
Police are asking for help with identifying a man they said fled from the scene of a traffic stop in East Haddam.
EAST HADDAM, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying a motorcyclist they say left the scene during a traffic stop with state troopers. The man was involved in a “road rage incident” before the stop was initiated, according to Connecticut State Police.
At about 10:40 p.m. May 2, the operator of a white motorcycle, with blue "Michael Jordan" markings on it, was involved in a road rage incident on Route 9 South near Exit 7 then continued into East Haddam via Route 82 onto Mount Parnassus Road, according to police.
Police said a motor vehicle stop was initiated on the motorcycle and the operator fled the scene. A white helmet with black fins on top of it and the name "Jordan" in blue letters on the sides, along with a pair of black and orange Wells Lamont gloves, was left at the scene, according to police.

The operator is described by police as a white man, approximately 6-feet tall with black hair, a stocky build, and a thin black beard and goatee.
Anyone with information regarding the motorcycle or the man is asked to call Troop K at 860-465-5400.
