New Prepared Food Market Opens In Haddam
A new business looks to provide tasty options for busy people.
HADDAM, CT — Fork in the Road is a new prepared food market that opened Sept. 6. According to its Facebook page, the market offers "delicious quality prepared foods, fresh baked bread, delicious desserts and goodies, chocolate,gifts and more!"
The owner of the business is Lori Lloyd, who has lived locally for 17 years and was previously a paraprofessional at Killingworth Elementary School, according to The Middletown Press.
The store features goods made in Connecticut including purveyors from Haddam, Middletown and Killingworth.

The market is located at 310 Saybrook Road in Higganum and is open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
