Obituary: Christopher John Antonelli, 47, of Killingworth

He loved cooking, and was always looking to perfect his dough and sauce for his homemade pizza.

Christopher John Antonelli, 47, of Killingworth, beloved husband of Virginia (Picart) Antonelli, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends, February 21, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice. He was born in New Haven on November 24, 1970, son of Anthony and Sandra (Guisler) Antonelli of Wallingford.

Chris graduated from Xavier High School in 1988 and from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA in 1992, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree. He worked as a project engineer for Mutualink in Wallingford. Christopher, a mentor to many, was devoted to his family and friends, and loved going to the Jersey Shore, the Outer Banks, and Diamond Valley in Pennsylvania. He enjoyed the outdoors and music, especially the band U2. He loved cooking, and was always looking to perfect his dough and sauce for his homemade pizza. Family and friends will remember his wit, dry humor, kindness, and patience.

In addition to his wife, Virginia, and his parents, Anthony and Sandra, he is survived by his loving daughters, Lauren Anna Antonelli and Elizabeth Rose Antonelli; his sisters, Mary Beth Massaro and her husband, Robert, of Hamden; and Pamela Grazioso and her husband, Mark of Wallingford; his brothers, David Antonelli and his wife, Angela, of Canton; and Brian Antonelli and his wife, Amanda, of Melrose, MA; his nieces and nephews, Eric Grazioso, RJ Massaro, Christopher Grazioso, Matthew Massaro, Maggie Grazioso, Samantha Dwyer, Catherine Antonelli, and Jacob Antonelli; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
