Obituary: Glenn R. Hunter, 71, Of Killingworth

He devoted his life to his family & business, Hunter's Pool Center in Wallingford. He could be seen around town on his Harley or sports car.

KILLINGWORTH, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Glenn R. Hunter, 71, of Killingworth, died Friday, May 7, 2021, at Middlesex Hospital.

Glenn was born in Meriden, October 16, 1949, a son of the late Robert J. and Rita (Draghi) Hunter. He devoted his life to his family and business, Hunter’s Pool Center. He always had the “need for speed” and could be found racing around town on his Harley or in his sports car.

He is survived by his girlfriend Carolyn Pavlick; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Bobbi and James Bobbi Jr. of Higganum; his son Kevin Hunter of Wallingford and his girlfriend Heather Bolduc; his grandchildren, James, Nicole, Brandon, Morgan and Taylor; his siblings Robert Hunter and his wife Robin, Alan Hunter and his wife Brenda; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Janice Cowen.

A celebration of his life will be held on June 19, 2021 at his home in Killingworth. An open house will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford.
