Meet some of the interesting people who are buried in one of Haddam’s oldest cemeteries including the wife of a polygamist, the mother of a two-year old killed by the train and two young brothers who died during the Civil War. Local actors and students from the Haddam-Killingworth High School Drama Department will share these stories of hardship, sorrow, and determination with visitors. The Shailerville/Tylerville Cemetery is located on the corner of Camp Bethel Road and Saybrook Road about 2/3 of a mile south of the Tylerville traffic light. Street parking. Admission is $5 per person (12 and under for free). Rain date is Sunday, October 22 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Light refreshments include our Spooktacular Halloween cookies.
