Armed Robbers Hit East Lyme Motel, Gas Station
Police are investigating two recent armed robberies.

EAST LYME, CT — East Lyme police are investigating following two armed robberies that occurred Sunday and Monday. Police said they received a 911 call Sunday at 7:01 p.m. from a man who said he was the victim of an armed robbery inside a room at the Motel 6 on Flanders Road.
The caller said two men entered the room and robbed a group of men at gunpoint, stealing electronics and jewelry. The suspects then fled in a small white vehicle with tinted windows, possibly with a woman driving.
Then at 7:08 p.m. Monday, a call came in from the Niantic Mobil on Flanders Road reporting an armed robbery.

The caller said that a masked man entered the store, displayed a knife, and stole cash from the register. The man then fled the store and entered a vehicle parked in the Starlight Inn parking lot.
