Body Found On Side Of Road: East Lyme Police

EAST LYME, CT — Police are investigating after a body was found on the side of West Society Road late Tuesday.

West Society Road is closed due to an active investigation, police said. On June 2 at approximately 10:30 pm East Lyme dispatch received a 911 call reporting an unresponsive male located on the side of the road.

The male was pronounced dead by members of East Lyme Ambulance. The East Lyme police department along with the New London States Attorney’s Office and Eastern District Major Crime are processing the scene.
