'Celebrate East Lyme' Road Closures Announced

EAST LYME, CT—Celebrate East Lyme is set for Saturday July 20. Police want residents and visitors to be aware of road closures.

According to East Lyme Police Chief of Police Michael Finkelstein, there will be no on street parking permitted on Main Street in Niantic from Lake Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, July as preparations will be underway for Celebrate East Lyme festivities.

This same section of Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic at 12 p.m. and will not reopen until 11 p.m.

The Fireworks display is scheduled to begin at approximately 9 p.m.
