East Lyme Public Safety Issues Holiday Travel Reminders
More than 25 million passengers are expected to travel through security screening checkpoints nationwide this Thanksgiving, the TSA states.

EAST LYME, CT — Millions of travelers will be in the air and on America's roads this holiday season, in fact records could be set this Thanksgiving, according to the East Lyme Public Safety Department and the Transportation Security Administration.
Between Nov. 16 and 26, more than 25 million passengers are expected to travel through security screening checkpoints nationwide, TSA officials stated, which is a 5 percent increase over last year.
The East Lyme department released the following advisory on its Facebook page as a reminder to plan ahead before heading out to visit family and friends:
