Fawn Rescued From Fenced-In Area in East Lyme
An East Lyme police officer helped the fawn safely across the road.

A fawn got stuck in a fenced-in area at Lillie B. Haynes School the morning of May 25.
"The fawn was trying to escape by running into the fence, however it was nearly injuring itself," East Lyme Police said via Facebook.
Officer William Langman helped relocate the fawn, who was found in a fenced-in area at the school. He was able to help the fawn safely cross the road and into a wooded area.
