Friends of Fort Trumbull to present June Zoom Speaker

The Friends of Fort Trumbull will continue their 2021 series on Women’s Suffrage with a Zoom presentation on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 7 p.m. The speaker, Liz Krebs, who is the Education Manager of the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame, will speak on- Votes for Women.

As the Friends mark the 101th anniversary of women’s suffrage in the United States, the speaker will remind us that the fight for women’s right to vote was long, taking many twists and turns. Women of today stand on the shoulders of the many Connecticut women who fought on a local, state, and national level.
