Large Snake ID'd That Slithered Up To Old Lyme Library: Update

OLD LYME, CT — Well, we now know what kind of snake crossed the road near the Old Lyme-Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library Friday. WFSB-TV anchor Dennis House updated the video from viewer Linda Luby on his Twitter page.
It was an eastern rat snake, according to herpetologist Sara Horwitz of @TCMConnecticut.
What the black-colored snake was doing near the library is unknown, as is where it ended up? Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
