Lifetime Movie Featuring CT Locations Finishes Filming
The third film in a series has wrapped up filming in several Connecticut towns.
EAST LYME, CT — "Stalker's Prey 3" just wrapped filming in East Lyme, New London, and Ledyard and will air on the Lifetime channel in spring 2021, The Day reported. The movie was made by Rocky Hill-based Synthetic Cinema International.
Synthetic also recently made "One Royal Holiday," which was filmed in Putnam, Woodstock, and Hartford. The musical, holiday-themed movie premiered on the Hallmark Channel this past weekend.
The first two Stalker's Prey films were shot in Niantic, Old Lyme, and Mystic. In the third movie, some scenes were shot at Ocean Beach Park in New London, a private house in Norwich, Ledyard High School, Vitale Aquatic and Tennis in Ledyard, and Saybrook Breakwater Lighthouse, according to The Day.

The Lifetime thriller features Bruce, played by Houston Stevenson, who goes to a shore town and becomes obsessed with a young woman. Sharks play a prominent role in the villain's plans.
Filming during the pandemic has proved to be a challenge. Andrew Gernhard, who runs Synthetic Cinema International, said those involved in the production were tested multiple times a week and had their own little bubble, according to WTNH.

They would also take other precautions including having crew members stand farther apart and wear masks. The only ones not wearing masks were the actors when they were performing scenes, WTNH reported.
