Lyme-Old Lyme Schools Receives National College Board Honor
The Region 18 school district is one of less than 500 to make significant gains in student access and success in AP Classes.

OLD LYME, CT — Lyme-Old Lyme School District has been named one of 447 districts to be honored by the College Board in its 8th Annual AP ® District Honor Roll. The United States and Canadian districts are being recognized for making significant gains in student access and success in Advanced Placement courses.
To be included on the 8th Annual Honor Roll, Lyme-Old Lyme High School had to, since 2015, increase the number of students participating in AP while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher. Reaching these goals shows that this district is successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are ready for AP.
"We are incredibly proud of the hard work of our students, staff, and community in making this recognition a reality," said Region 18 Schools Superintendent Ian Neviaser in a statement. "This continues to support our strong reputation as a premier school district in Connecticut and the nation as a whole. The Lyme-Old Lyme Schools are committed to expanding the availability of AP courses among prepared and motivated students of all backgrounds."
