Man Wanted In New York State Arrested In East Lyme
A man who police say was wanted on a warrant out of Rochester on a menacing with a weapon charge was arrested Saturday.
EAST LYME, CT — A man who police said was wanted on a warrant out of Rochester, NY on a menacing with a weapon charge was arrested Saturday. Police said they conducted a routine traffic stop on Flanders Road.
Officers determined that the driver, David Roman, 24, of Brooklyn, NY, had an active warrant out for his arrest. Officers investigated and found 1.1 ounces of a substance believed to be fentanyl along with other items related to drug sale and paraphernalia in the car, according to police.
Roman was charged with fugitive from justice, operating a drug factory, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an unregistered vehicle, and operating without insurance.

He was held on $250,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Monday.
Another man was also arrested in the incident. Michael Jorge Morales, 26, of 11 Elm St. in Meriden, was charged with operating a drug factory, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
