Parking Ban In Town Of East Lyme

December 16, 2020

Due to the impending snow storm, there will be a parking ban that goes into effect on all town roads starting tonight at 6pm 12/16/20 until further notice. Residents can use the parking lots at Bridebrook Park near 227 West Main St or the Community Center at 33 Society Rd if they need a location to park for this storm.

Later tomorrow when we have had a chance to see how much snow we are dealing with, we will determine when the parking ban will end and will post that information on the town website at eltownhall.com.

Additionally, the Transfer Station will be closed tomorrow Thursday 12/17 and Garbage and Recycling pickup on Thursday will be cancelled as well so that we can use our manpower on the storm cleanup.

Garbage and recycling pickup usually scheduled for Thursday will be picked up on Friday as we will do double collection of Thursday and Friday’s routes on Friday.
