Parking Ban-Winter Storm Notices In Town Of East Lyme

Our latest storm updates indicate that we should expect up to 8-14″ of snow starting early tomorrow morning (Mon, Feb 1st) but picking up in intensity by mid morning.

Therefore there will be a parking ban that goes into effect for all Town roads starting at midnight tonight until further notice. People can park their vehicles in the Community Center parking lot off of Society Rd if they need a place to park.

Since this is expected to be a 2 day snow event, we are starting our garbage trucks early tomorrow at 6am so we can get thru the Monday route by 9-10am. If you need your trash and recycling picked up this week, put your cans out tonight and remove them from the edge of the road as soon as possible after they have been picked up to aid in the clearing of snow. Tuesdays trash pickup will be determined on Monday night based on how this storms goes so go to the towns website to get any up to date information.
