Police Arrest Niantic Woman on Narcotics Possession Charge

A Niantic woman and a New London woman were arrested on Wednesday, April 13. Police seized 28 Oxycodone pills, cash and cell phones.

Two women were arrested on Wednesday, April 13, by East Lyme Police and the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force, on narcotics-related charges.

Stephanie Fialco, 29, of 192 Shaw St., #2, New London, was charged with possession of narcotics.

Sharlene Helme, 30, of 40 Quarry Dock Rd., Niantic, was charged with the following:

  • Possession of Narcotics
  • Possession of Narcotics With Intent to Sell
  • Possession of Narcotics Out of Original Container
  • Risk of Injury to a Minor

Police seized the following:

  • 3 cellular telephones
  • $798 in U.S. currency
  • 28 Oxycodone 30mg pills

Both were released when they posted $10,000 cash-surety bonds and are scheduled to appear in court on April 27.
