The George Seebeck Memorial Pavilion Garden, located at 108 Pennsylvania Ave., is all dressed up and ready for the East Lyme Garden Club’s annual plant sale, scheduled for May 11 from 8 am –
noon. “The garden needed some TLC,” says Diane Earl, ELGC member and Connecticut Advanced Master Gardener. Earl spearheaded the garden’s makeover in 2018 and recruited Connecticut Advanced Master Gardeners Donna Carlson and Brittany Paige; East Lyme's Park and Recreation maintenance crew; volunteers from the York Women's Correctional Facility, and the East Lyme Lions Club, to weed and plant new flowering plants and ornamental grasses.
