Rev. Dr. Kent Siladi to preach at Niantic Community Church
The Rev. Dr. Kent Siladi, Minister of the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ, will preach in Niantic June 3rd.
NIANTIC - The Rev. Dr. Kent Siladi, Minister of the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ, will preach and concelebrate Holy Communion with Transitional Pastor, Rev. Dianne Arakawa, on Sunday, June 3rd at 9:30 a.m. at Niantic Community Church.
Dr. Siladi has served in his capacity since 2013, before which he served as Conference Minister of Florida and before that as an Associate Conference Minister in the Middlesex Region of CT. He is presently involved in planning Tri-Con, which will unite Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island into one conference.
As Conference Minister his primary responsibilities include offering a ministry of leadership and relationship, communicating the mission and ministry of the Connecticut Conference, providing programmatic and Conference staff oversight, assuring business and financial oversight and representing the Connecticut Conference to the wider church.

Niantic Community Church, which was founded in 1719 as the First Congregational Church of Niantic, became federated in 1953 with the Methodist Church of Niantic to become a forward-looking, ecumenical church with spirited music.
