Sold! Nine Properties Sold in East Lyme—Including a Commercial Lot For $1.4 million
Property Transactions for East Lyme, Oct. 12-19, 2012
Inland American CFG Portfolio LLC sold a commercial lot currently occupied by Citizens Bank at 43 Pennsylvania Avenue and 12 Beckwith Street in Niantic for $1,419,112 on October 15, 2012. The property was bought by American Realty Capital (ARC CBELMCT001 LLC.), of Monroe, North Carolina.
According to the company's Web site, ARC invests in "freestanding commercial real estate properties net leased to what we believe are investment grade, as determined by major credit rating agencies, and other credit-worthy, as determined by the Company, tenants (“credit tenants”). The Company’s principal business objective is to generate attractive risk-adjusted investment returns by assembling and operating a portfolio diversified by tenant, industry, geography and lease duration."

As of September 7, 2012, ARCP owned 61 continuing properties and two properties held for sale. All the continuing properties are leased to credit tenants.
