The repair work that the State of Connecticut had originally planned to begin on two Route 82 bridges in Salem in June has now been rescheduled to start in July. The detours associated with this bridge work, when they go into effect, will reroute traffic onto Route 156 and Salem Road – impacting traffic through Lyme. The bridge repairs are now scheduled to begin July 19 and end September 21.
