Snow is expected this afternoon, Dec. 15.

LYME, CT — The National Weather Service has issued the following "Winter Weather Advisory" for Lyme, Old Lyme and East Lyme on Friday, Dec. 15, until 1 a.m. on Saturday due to a pending snow storm:

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on snow covered roads, including during the evening commute. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Saturday.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
