Woman, 36, Held On $50,000 Bail For Mail Theft Charges: Police

There was a warrant for Tameka Sherman's arrest in connection with mail theft cases. She's charged with forgery, larceny and identity theft.

EAST LYME, CT — Tameka Sherman was arrested by Woodbridge Police on a warrant, but she had an active warrant in East Lyme, too.

According to a news release from East Lyme Police, Sherman, 36, with no address listed, was turned over to local police on a warrant in connection with an investigation into mail theft cases in East Lyme.

Sherman was charged with first-degree forgery, third-degree identity theft and fourth-degree larceny. Police said she is being held on $50,000 bond and will appear in court Friday.
