Former Bowling Alley Property Sold In Wallingford

Realtors announced the sale of a former longtime bowling alley in Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The former Colony Lanes bowling alley property on South Colony Road in Wallingford has been sold, realtors announced this week.

The 29,189-square foot building at 600 South Colony Rd. was sold for $935,000, according to The Geenty Group, Realtors.

Porto Realty, Inc. of Connecticut sold the property to Michael Mauro of Mauro Associates, L.P., according to a news release. Kevin Geenty was the agent for the seller while Steve Miller of Levy, Miller & Maretz represented the buyer.

The property was built as a bowling alley in 1960 for AMF Corporation and was used for bowling until 2018.

Plans for the property weren’t immediately announced.
