Former Sky Zone Property On The Market In Wallingford

The popular indoor trampoline park has permanently closed in Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The former Sky Zone property on Route 5 in Wallingford is on the market for $1.3 million, according to the New Haven Register.

The popular trampoline park opened in Wallingford in 2014 but is permanently closed. Sky Zone announced it was reopening last July after being closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a post on Facebook. Sky Zone’s last post on Facebook was in August, offering residents a place to “recharge or cool off” after Tropical Storm Isaias.

“We’d like to thank the community of Wallingford for flying high with us over the years,” reads a post on the Sky Zone website. “We’ve loved being a part of this community and hope the memories you’ve made with us last a lifetime!”

California-based Sky Zone has one remaining Connecticut location in Norwalk.

The property at 805 North Colony Rd. in Wallingford is being listed by Sentry Commercial. The 25,316-sqaure-foot industrial facility is situated on 1.65 acres and features 20-foot ceilings, according to the listing.

Wallingford Economic Development Specialist Tim Ryan told the Register he’d like to see the space used for recreational purposes, such as an indoor athletic facility.
