WEST HARTFORD, CT — The business carousel has a popular supermarket staying aboard for a longer ride but a restaurant closing down in West Hartford.

The Whole Foods puzzle was recently finished with lease issues being resolved that keeps the popular supermarket at the Bishops Corner area of town, town officials said. The address is 340 North Main St.

A staffer answering the phone said the plan is to not only stay at Bishops Corner but open in Avon as well.

The new store will be in Avon Village Center. There is a second Whole Foods in West Hartford at 50 Raymond Road.

Meanwhile, town economic development officials conformed that the Blue Plate Kitchen at 345 North Main Street will be closing.

The restaurant, which specializes in "new American fare," had been advertising specials into late July, including a grilled halibut with Brussels sprouts, grilled veggie skewers, and house-made salsa fresca.

Municipal officials said the restaurant is slated to close later this month.
