Car Slams Into West Hartford Dry Cleaning Business

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A sport utility vehicle wound up partially inside a West Hartford business after a traffic accident Wednesday morning.

Police said officers and a fire crew were dispatched to 2477 Albany Ave. and found a 2006 Honda Pilot smashed against Dry Kleaning by McKleans.

The SUV was being driven by a West Hartford woman and had the front plate glass window of the business, police said.

There were no reported injuries.

West Hartford Building Department officials responded to the scene and were inspecting the building for structural issues, police said.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by the West Hartford Police Department Traffic Division.
