WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford officials Wednesday announced that on-street overnight parking will temporarily be permitted on most streets beginning April 1.

Overnight parking restrictions will remain in place for West Hartford Center and certain nearby streets.

The town has relaxed restrictions on overnight parking throughout the coronavirus pandemic in order to accommodate an increase in household occupancy.

Things could change, however, at the April 5 town council meeting, Town Manager Matt Hart is slated to propose an ordinance authorizing permanent changes to the overnight parking ban.
