Christmas Tree Collection Begins Soon in West Hartford
The Public Works Department's Christmas tree collection will run soon for a short window of time.

WEST HARTFORD, CT - The annual Christmas tree collection by the Public Works Department will begin on Tuesday, January 3 in the Monday refuse collection area.
Residents in the Monday and Tuesday refuse collection areas should have their trees at the curb by 6 a.m., according to a release.
Residents do not have to wait for their trash day to put the trees out as DPW may get ahead of schedule. The town will be making a sweep through the town twice and we may get ahead of schedule, weather permitting.

Residents are reminded that the trees are recycled into wood chips. Therefore, please remove any plastic bags, ornaments, lights or stands from your tree before you place it at the curb.
