Conard Grad Greg Youngstrom Named an All-American in NCAA Division III Swimming

The Keene State freshman swam in the NCAA III Swimming and Diving Championships in Texas last week.

Keen State freshman Greg Youngstrom, a 2012 Conard High School graduate, was named an All-American at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in Shenandoah, TX, last week.

Youngstrom, who was making his first appearance at the competition, was part of a foursome that finished eighth in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:21.84.

Kenyon (OH) College won the race with a time of 1:18.96.

“I’m very proud of the guys,” said KSC Coach Jack Fabian, according to a press release from Keene State.  “They worked very hard all season.”

Youngstrom, the lone freshman on the relay, called it a “phenomenal experience" that he won’t forget.
