The on-ramp at a busy Interstate-84 interchange in West Hartford is set to reopen next week at the latest.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The on-ramp at a busy Interstate-84 interchange in West Hartford is set to reopen next week at the latest, officials from the state Department of Transportation said.
The new date for opening the I-84 Exit 40 westbound on-ramp is now Oct. 19. The ramp was originally scheduled to reopen Oct. 5, but the coronavirus pandemic led to delays in receiving construction materials related to ongoing bridge work and the date was pushed forward, officials said.
The ramp could open sooner, according to DOT officials.
