The Global Problem Solving class invites the community to a Farmers Market at Hall High School (975 N. Main St.) this Saturday, June 15, from 1-5 p.m.
The mission of our market is twofold: one, to promote local food and farmers in our area, and two, to help Charter Oak Elementary school fund their own bi-annual farmers markets.
The organization Growing Great Schools has helped integrate healthy eating and choices into  the West Hartford Public Schools, particularly at the elementary level. Some schools already had gardens and farmers markets, so we're trying to help Charter Oak become a part of this great food movement.
We have Eddy Farm, Wades Farm Fresh, Urban Oaks Organic Farm, and many other vendors. We are very excited about this event and to be a part of the Global Problem Solving class here at Hall.
