Halloween Stroll Set For Saturday In West Hartford

Costumed children of all ages are invited to trick-or-treat at participating merchants throughout West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — (Contributed press release): Costumed children of all ages are invited for a fun morning in West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square for the Moms & More Club of West Hartford’s Annual Halloween Stroll on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Little ghouls and goblins (and princesses and heroes, too) are welcome to Trick-or-Treat at participating merchants throughout West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square. There will be live music, a fire truck to climb aboard, local sports team mascots, crafts, games, other activities throughout the Center, and of course, candy.

The free festivities are featured at various stations along the route that encompasses LaSalle Road, Farmington Avenue, South Main Street, Memorial Road and Isham Road. You decide where and when to begin. There will be a special secured area for children ages 3 and younger in the REI parking lot located off of Raymond Road. Look for the ‘Little Pumpkins’ sign.

This is popular event draws thousands of people so give yourself plenty of extra time to secure a parking spot. Parking is available at Town Hall, in the garages on Isham Rd., Memorial Rd. and the Town Center building on South Main Street, as well as the municipal lots on Brace Road and LaSalle Road.

This event is produced in collaboration with the Town of West Hartford, the West Hartford Center Business Association, Blue Back Square, West Hartford Chamber of Commerce, Becker’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry.
