CT Weather: Hour-By-Hour Forecast Of 'Heavy' Nor'easter Snowstorm
Today is the first day of spring and tomorrow it will snow. Here is the latest on how much snow to expect and when it should begin.

There have been some big changes to the snowy weather forecast for Wednesday in Connecticut. Hartford, Tolland, Windham, and Litchfield counties will see less snow than originally expected, while New London County will receive more snow than originally thought.
There hasn’t been much of a change for Fairfield, New Haven and Middlesex counties where a foot or more of snow is forecast by the National Weather Service. It’s become clear that this is more of a Southern Connecticut snowstorm as areas closest to the storm will see the most snow. More dry air is expected in northern sections of the state, which could keep accumulation totals down.
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for all of Connecticut on Wednesday as snow moves in after 7-8 a.m. in Southern Connecticut and in the afternoon in northern sections of the state. (See below for a breakdown of how much snow is expected where you live and when the snow will start. And at the end of the post, you can also see that Connecticut's meteorologists offer different estimates than the National Weather Service.) Here is the final call from Connecticut's meteorologists which differ somewhat with the National Weather Service's predictions:
If you live in the north, you'll like this map. If you live at the shoreline, you won't! Keep in mind, totals will be lower at the immediate shore due to heavier/wet snow! #WTNHweather pic.twitter.com/u6uhGoAJeQ

Obviously a big change to the forecast. Hate to do this right before the storm but this is what the data supports right now. #nbcct pic.twitter.com/MjQqvfoTaT
