Iwo Jima 76th Anniversary Virtual Reunion

February 19th - March 26, 2021

The Battle of Iwo Jima took place 76 years ago. We will join together to honor those who fought and died in the struggle to win the battle so critical to ending World War II.

Our 75th Iwo Jima Reunion weekend was highly successful and attended by over 200 people. We were blessed with fantastic weather and were able to hold the event before COVID-19 restrictions were enacted.

This year 2021 will be different. We are developing ideas for a virtual reunion and some possible in-person activities abiding by COVID restrictions. Please plan to join us and follow this page for more information. The reunion activities and programs will run from February 19th - March 26, 2021 coinciding with the dates of the Battle of Iwo Jima.

We are actively seeking volunteers and ideas to make this an exciting and educational reunion while honoring those servicemen who fought and died in this historic battle. This event was created and presented by the Iwo Jima Survivors Association, Inc. and Support Our Survivors of Iwo Jima with the Iwo Jima/World War II Museum. Please contact us if you are interesting in volunteering or helping plan this reunion.

You don't need to be local (Connecticut) to help. This will be a nationwide and local commemorative event. Thank you.
