New Owners Taking Over West Hartford's Blue Plate Kitchen

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford's Blue Plate Kitchen has new ownership.

The announcement was made Friday.

The restaurant will remain open during the transition, according to the announcement.

Complications from the coronavirus pandemic had been threatening the long-term survival of the eatery.

"We are so excited to announce that we're officially under new ownership," the announcement said. "We will remain OPEN and look forward to continuing to serve you. Thank you to everyone who reached out in support over the past few weeks. We are thrilled to be part of the West Hartford community."

Blue Plate Kitchen is located at 345 North Main Street. It specializes in "modern comfort food" with a farm-to-table theme. It serves up popular Sunday brunches.
