WEST HARTFORD, CT — A new detour pattern will be in place for Phase 2 of the Park Road construction project on Monday, April 29, weather permitting. Officials say the traffic pattern will result in “significant impacts as Trout Brook Drive will be closed to ALL southbound traffic at Boulevard.” Westbound traffic on Park Road will also be required to turn right at Trout Brook Drive, according to officials.

“The work hours have been adjusted to accommodate the morning commuter traffic and the roadway will be re-opened at the end of the work day,” according to a news release. “This detour pattern is expected to be in place for one to two days.

“Following the completion of this work, the contractor will implement the Phase 3 detour plan. This traffic pattern still requires Trout Brook Drive to be closed to ALL southbound traffic at Boulevard, however there will be no impacts on Park Road. This work is expected to take approximately one to two weeks.”
