From Playhouse on Park: Updates, Postponements, & Cancellations
Decisions have been made about scheduled events at Playhouse on Park in West Hartford.

West Hartford, CT - We continue to monitor all recommendations set forth by the CDC and Governor Ned Lamont with regard to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). As a result, the following decisions have been made.
Playhouse on Park is closed and will remain closed until the ban on non-essential businesses is lifted. Unfortunately, our staff have been furloughed until further notice.
All Playhouse Theatre Academy classes follow their corresponding towns’ school emergency closing schedules. All classes and class showcases have been cancelled through Sunday, April 19th.

stop/time dance theater’s production of DIVAS originally scheduled for March 25th - April 5th 2020 and then postponed until April 29th - May 10th 2020 has been postponed again. The new dates are tbd but this production will happen. Once we have an all clear from Governor Lamont to resume gathering in large groups, we will announce the new dates. Your tickets will automatically be moved to the new date and the box office will communicate this information with you. Exchanges within the run will be allowed. Stay tuned...
The Zumba/Dance Fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, March 28th will be rescheduled once stop/time dance theatre has solid dates.

The April 11, 2020 & May 16th Comedy Nights will be postponed to dates to be determined.
The production of Ugly Lies the Bone by Lindsey Ferrentino scheduled for April 22nd - May 10th 2020 has been cancelled. We do hope to produce this show in a future season. We ask that ticket holders strongly consider donating their tickets back to the theatre in lieu of requesting a refund.
Playwrights on Park scheduled for May 3rd has been cancelled.
Encore! A Playhouse on Park Fundraising Party honoring the work of the legendary John Kander scheduled for May 30th has been postponed to a date to be determined.
At this time, we do hope to continue the following productions / programs as planned:

Field Trips and Public Performances scheduled between May 26th - June 12th
It Shoulda Been You by Brian Hargrove and Barbara Anselmi

Playhouse Theatre Academy Summer Youth Programs will proceed as planned. Register today!
Playhouse Theatre Academy Summer Internship Programs - note - as a result of COVID-19 we are waiving the mail requirement. Candidates can send in their applications and any necessary attachments by way of email to info@PlayhouseOnPark.org.
