Congratulations to St. Brigid-St. Augustine Partnership School's (SBSAS) Sejmora Thomas, an eighth-grade high honors student.
Most recently, Thomas was notified that she is one of Northwest Catholic High School's (NWC) "Green and White Merit Scholarship" recipients for incoming freshman for the 2019/2020 academic school year. Thomas scored in the top 20 percentile of all students that took NWC's entrance exam.
A beaming and confident Thomas stated, "Of course, I am really excited about this award. I worked hard to get to where I am."
Thomas continued, "I am naturally an achievement type oriented personality. I am committed to everything I do. Plus, I worked very hard to be in this distinguished group of students!"
Principal Rebecca Goddard, nodding in agreement added, "Yes, Sejmora deserves this academic recognition. At St. Brigid-St. Augustine Partnership School we have a very rigorous academic program. A number of competitive private schools were interested in Sejmora enrolling in their program for the fall."
Goddard continued, "Without question, we are very proud of Sejmora and all of her accomplishments. She is a top student leader and I anticipate that she will be an asset in her new school environment."
