Scheduling of Public Hearing Delayed on Proposed West Hartford Apartment Complex
Town Council regular meeting does not take place within the 30 to 60 time period of when the application was filed.

Due to a quirk in the town charter and the Town Council’s schedule, the application proposing a special development district to knock down an office building to construct an 18-unit apartment complex at 24 N. Main St. was withdrawn so it can be refiled at a later date.
West Hartford’s charter requires that a public hearing be held between 30 and 60 days after an application for a zoning change is filed with the town.
The application for the new apartment building was filed on Nov. 5.
