Former Member and CycleStar Decide to Buy Premium Indoor Cycling Studio During Global Pandemic

CycleBar, the premier indoor cycling franchise, is reopening with new owners in West Hartford. The new studio owners are local entrepreneurs and sisters Cheryl Rocco and Diana Reimer. The sisters were first introduced to CycleBar West Hartford in 2018, with Cheryl serving as an instructor and Diana as a founding member. The location closed their doors in March, and Cheryl and Diana officially decided to reopen the studio themselves in mid-September.

“We were devastated to hear that the West Hartford location would be closing their doors in March, so we couldn’t be more excited to be reopening back up,” said Cheryl. “Safety is our #1 priority, so we’ll be opening our doors knowing we’ll keep our members safe.”

To celebrate the new ownership, CycleBar West Hartford will be hosting an outdoor ride with the local running group Nodadbod and the FWJ hit club. The workout is $25 per person, and will include three 30-minute rotations of cardio exercises. Local vendors Vinted Wine Bar, PlayBowls, Kennedy’s Barber Club, and Spot will also be offering special services for the in the morning.

The boutique fitness franchise offers the ultimate indoor cycling experience. With concierge-level service and premium amenities, CycleBar promises a completely immersive experience. Instructors known as CycleStars preside over three CycleBar core class formats – Classic, Connect, and Performance – which are designed to give riders of all fitness levels a unique and exhilarating experience. Using enhanced mood lighting and CycleBeats, proprietary CycleBar playlists that are sent to and can be downloaded by riders after class, CycleStars encourage riders to keep pedaling while performance data known as CycleStats can be monitored on massive flat screen TV’s located in the front of the CycleTheatre.

The studio offers pay-per-class, class packs and auto-renewable memberships. Riders will enjoy complimentary shoe rental, filtered water, towels, showers and lockers.

New safety precautions and regulations have been installed to keep all member of the CycleBar family safe for all rides. The studio itself has a maximum capacity of 21 bike stations, each six feet apart. Masks are required to be worn in the studio lobby, and are recommended to be worn in the studio. The studio is cleaned thoroughly after each class, and online registration for classes is available as well. They’ll also be offering bike rentals and virtual rides at home.
