Truck Carrying Molasses Rolls Over On I-84 In West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A truck carrying molasses rolled over on Interstate-84 in West Hartford Wednesday morning, creating a sticky mess on the highway, state police said.

The accident was reported at about 9:45 a.m.

It took place on the eastbound side of the highway near Exit 40, according to state police.

The right and center lanes were closed, along with Exit 40 itself, state police said. The cleanup lasted into the early afternoon.
