Community service is one of the hallmarks of St. Brigid-St. Augustine Partnership School's (SBSAS) mission to be of service to others.
In support of the United States Marines' annual Christmas “Toys for Tots" drive, SBSAS' first-grade class, led by U. S. Marine Staff Sgt. Greg Pelletier and their teacher Patrice Hayes; are collecting toys to help ensure that as many kids as possible have something under their tree this year for Christmas.
An excited Sgt. Pelletier stated, "My goddaughters, Brooklyn and Nicole, attend St. Brigid-St. Augustine Partnership School. As a Marine, I was so happy to hear that they’re collecting gifts for our "Toys for Tots" campaign, so of course, I was onboard to help out!"
Hayes added, "We are so thankful for all the toys that have been donated so far but we still have a ways to go. Plus, the students are so excited that we have an actual Marine, Sgt. Pelletier, helping us collect toys. There are still many children in need, please feel free to drop a toy off at our school."

"As a Catholic school community, we always stress the importance of giving back. It is so meaningful to see how thrilled my students are about collecting toys for children other than themselves," continued Hayes.
